Zultys Introduces MXvirtual

Comprehensive Cloud-based Phone System & UC Solution

Zultys logoSUNNYVALE, CA – November 6, 2013 - Zultys, a premier provider of innovative unified communications solutions that empower businesses to collaborate effectively, today announced MXvirtual, a cloud-based comprehensive Unified Communications solution for enterprises and managed service providers. Increasingly businesses are moving critical applications into the cloud to take advantage of the business continuity and cost savings that server consolidation offers, but to this point moving voice and communication systems into the cloud meant sacrificing features with a 'one size fits all' hosted solution, or required a complex multi-server solution with the corresponding higher costs of deployment and ongoing maintenance that drove the total cost of ownership (TCO) sky high. With the introduction of MXvirtual, enterprises of all sizes no longer need to sacrifice features for simplicity as Zultys delivers on both fronts, scaling to thousands of users in a single virtual appliance. MXvirtual, a VMware® Ready virtual appliance, boasts the exact same comprehensive feature set as the premise-based MX systems (MX30 & MX250). MXvirtual supports Zultys’ MXIE TM unified communication client, Integrated Contact Center Solution, smartphone integration, advanced call routing, conferencing, large scale call recording, advanced SIP trunking with integrated session border controller and all the other great features that have won Zultys accolades for over 10 years in the telecommunication industry. MXvirtual is still the all-in-one solution that our channel partners and end-users love, but now it comes packed all in one cloud solution. The move to the cloud delivers Zultys customers another level of flexibility. While large corporations can host MXvirtual on their existing VMware® infrastructure, Zultys Channel Partners acting as Managed Service Providers (MSP) will be able to offer a powerful hosted solution to their customers, delivering incredible savings and an unrivaled feature set. As a VMware® Technology Alliance Partner, Zultys MXvirtual has received VMware® Ready approval. Customers have the option to implement server-level high-availability as well as take advantage of Zultys’ MXnetwork TM Redundancy feature, designating another MX to take over MXvirtual’s functionality in an emergency situation. The backup MX can be another MXvirtual or a physical MX system. MXvirtual acts exactly like a physical MX system and can be integrated into a company-wide MXnetwork, integrating up to 128 systems, cloud-based and premise-based, into a single cohesive solution with staff at all locations able to communicate seamlessly. “The MXvirtual platform was simple to deploy into our existing VMware environment. We’re excited about the level of scale and flexibility that this breakthrough brings to the MX platform,” said Colin McGuire, Director of Engineering, Coactive Technology Solutions. MXvirtual will be available with MX Release 9.0. More at www.zultys.com
