Yealink’s new DECT IP Multi-Cell System W80B certified by Far South Networks to offer an affordable roaming solution to the SMME market sector

Xiamen, China - January 17, 2020 - Yealink, a global brand that specialises in video conferencing, voice communication and collaboration solutions, and Far South Networks, a Proudly South African manufacturer of IP PBX and Gateway equipment, announced today that Yealink’s new W80B, DECT IP Multi-Cell System achieves full featured interoperability with the Far South Networks PBX product range. “ DECT based PBX handsets that supports seamless handover between base stations have generally been beyond the price range of the typical South African SMME,” says Grant Broomhall, Managing Director of Far South Networks. “Yealink’s introduction of a cost effective DECT IP Multi-Cell System is a landmark mobility product for the SMME business.” Yealink’s new W80B DECT IP Multi-Cell System provides a clear, consistent, high-quality audio experience with seamless mobility across large spaces. The system supports up to 30 base stations, 100 handsets and 100 parallel calls allowing business users to move freely and converse on their DECT handsets between the base stations. Completing a new round of product interop testing renews a strong and lasting partnership between Yealink and Far South Networks. The two companies started product interop testing and collaboration in 2011 and continue this commitment to a close product partnership into 2020 and beyond. Far South Networks has completed the product interoperability testing with the Yealink DECT IP Multi-Cell System W80B receiving a 100% pass rate for all voice and PBX services to the W53H & W56H handsets as well as the DECT conference phone, CP930W. “This combination of products is an exciting value proposition for Far South Networks’ channel partners.” says Grant Broomhall, Managing Director of Far South Networks. “These Yealink models now work seamlessly with our PBX product range as fully managed devices.
