Company Prepares for Continued Growth by Adding Experienced Chief Administrator to Senior Leadership Team Warwick Valley Telephone Company, referred to as
WVT Communications Group, the parent company of leading cloud communications pioneers, today announced the appointment of Jennifer Brown as Chief Administrative Officer. With over 20 years of experience, Brown replaces Pat Welsh, who – after a period of special assignment duties – is retiring. Brown will report to the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for all corporate administrative functions, including corporate secretary and investor/shareholder relations; all facets of human resources; corporate logistics and corporate planning; and, systems and infrastructure. Before joining WVT Communications Group, Brown served in senior leadership positions at high growth business services enterprises, including Access Group, Inc., in Wilmington, DE, and Graduate Health Systems - Parkview Hospital, in Philadelphia, PA. “Jennifer’s diverse leadership experience across the spectrum of functional disciplines, including human resources, organizational development, operations and senior administration, make her the ideal replacement for the CAO role,” said Duane Albro, chief executive officer, WVT Communications Group. “Her ability to consistently develop and implement business strategies and translate big picture ideas into operational success will help WVT Communications Group continue to increase efficiency and profitability during this period of rapid growth, while fortifying our corporate mission and vision.” “We all thank Pat for his instrumental service in helping to successfully transform our organization into a cloud communications company,” Albro stated. “We are excited about the ways in which Ms. Brown will expand on the foundations that Pat built.” Brown has been a guest speaker on a variety of human resource topics including compensation program design, audit readiness, employee commitment, and organizational communication at numerous HR professional conferences.
