Westcon To Launch UCaaS Solution Powered by Avaya IP Office

TARRYTOWN, New York – November 3, 2015Westcon, the leading IT distributor with worldwide practices focused on security, UCC, networking, data center, cloud, global deployment and services, is launching a powerful, scalable, cloud-delivered solution Powered by Avaya IP Office for its reseller customers. The Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution will be marketed through Westcon’s broad base of solution providers to their end-user customers. The UCaaS solution Powered by Avaya IP Office is the latest offering between Westcon and Avaya, who have provided world-class telecommunications products and services together for more than 25 years. Westcon is Avaya’s largest global distributor. The new agreement helps VARs meet the growing demand for UCaaS in the market, providing businesses with the opportunity to migrate from a traditional capital expenditure to an operating expense (OpEx) model with a turnkey solution. The Westcon UCaaS solution Powered by Avaya IP Office is available in the United States now and will be offered in Canada by early next year. UCaaS Solution Includes Compliance & Taxation Features Westcon is partnering with TelAgility, a leading provider of hosted platforms, to deliver the turnkey solution. TelAgility’s hosted service includes detailed compliance and taxation functionality, attractive to solution providers as a value-added service as they fold-in their own services for delivering a complete solution to customers. TelAgility was founded in 2014 to provide SaaS-based telecommunications to solution providers, and immediately pursued a partnership with Westcon to bring Avaya IP Office as a service to market. “We wanted a partner to reach solution providers and Westcon was a natural fit,” said TelAgility CEO Adam Cole. “We collaborate on all the partner development.
