Vonage Names Kristy Thomas Senior Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances

Previously, Kristy served as a Senior Vice President in the contact center and sales organizations for Vonage from 2018 to 2020.

Holmdel, NJ - July 29, 2024 - Vonage, a global leader in cloud communications helping businesses accelerate their digital transformation and a part of Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC), has named Kristy Thomas, Senior Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances. In this role, she will be responsible for building the Company’s high-growth strategy for its indirect routes to market, with oversight of global channels including Technology Services Distributors (TSDs), Software as a Service (SAAS) vendors, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), System Integrators (SIs), Resellers and hyper-scaler partnerships.

A well-known and prominent leader in the Channel and cloud communications sector, Thomas has more than 20 years of experience building and scaling successful sales and leadership teams. She has dedicated her career to working with partners and their customers, including global enterprises seeking digital transformation, to unlock their full potential within the ever-evolving technological landscape. 

Previously, Kristy served as a Senior Vice President in the contact center and sales organizations for Vonage from 2018 to 2020. She was an integral part of the Company’s acquisition of industry-leading contact center provider NewVoiceMedia, helping to drive a customer engagement framework for contact center transformation that enabled businesses and their agents to create more meaningful customer engagement.

Prior to rejoining Vonage in 2024, Thomas has served as Vice President of Partner Experience and Enablement at Intelisys (a Scansource company). In this role, she built an ecosystem that supported a 37% year over year growth in its customer experience practice, reinforcing an emphasis on meeting partners’ individual needs by providing tools to help them serve their own customers. This included the creation of a partner marketing program, partner education and events, a partner loyalty program, and high-growth technology programs.

She has also held various sales leadership positions for cloud communications providers, including Vice President of Western Sales at Talkdesk where she was responsible for the leadership and execution of the enterprise field sales organization within the region and as 

Vice President of Cloud Communications at Masergy Communications (now Comcast), where she drove a 30% year-over-year growth for the cloud communications division and achieved the organization’s Chairman's Club award four years in a row.
