The Channel Company, has named Christie Hamberis, senior vice president for ScanSource Networking and Security, and Tracey Boucher, vice president of merchandising for ScanSource Networking and Security, to its prestigious 2016 Women of the Channel list. The women executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision, and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation. CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees on the basis of their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel. “Both Christie and Tracey are valuable members of our executive team, and they bring a great deal of experience, expertise, and channel insight to their respective roles,” said Buck Baker, president, Worldwide Barcode and Security. “It’s always exciting for us to see the hard work of our employees pay off, and this recognition is no different. Previously, she served as vice president of merchandising for ScanSource Security, and helped lead merchandising efforts across multiple business units. Boucher joined ScanSource in 2006 as part of an acquisition, and has held roles in merchandising leadership within ScanSource Communications, including serving as vice president of merchandising for ScanSource POS and Barcode in Europe.
