TransNexus Integrates Somos RealNumber DNO Dataset

The NexOSS platform offers extensive capabilities to identify unwanted calls and then either block, divert, or change the Caller ID

ATLANTA, GA - May 1, 2024 - TransNexus today announced the integration of the Somos RealNumber® DNO (Do Not Originate) dataset into the suite of robocall and fraud detection tools in the TransNexus NexOSS software platform. The combination of the RealNumber DNO dataset and NexOSS call analytics capabilities helps voice service providers mitigate fraud and comply with robocall mitigation regulatory requirements.

The NexOSS platform offers extensive capabilities to identify unwanted calls and then either block, divert, or change the Caller ID based on flexible policy controls:

  • RealNumber DNO identification of calls with numbers that should never originate calls
  • Calling number reputation analytics
  • SIP Analytics real-time detection of unusual traffic using dynamic self-learning algorithms
  • STIR/SHAKEN call authentication and verification
  • Blacklisting tools using any combination of calling and called numbers, locations, countries, user agents, OCNS and IP addresses
  • Shield identification of invalid and high-risk calling and called numbers
  • Number portability correction.

NexOSS is widely deployed with retail voice service providers and is an excellent tool for high-volume wholesale providers to support STIR/SHAKEN. NexOSS can provide STIR/SHAKEN authentication for any unsigned call that passes the gauntlet of NexOSS robocall mitigation tools. When combined with CDRAnalyzer, NexOSS protects wholesale networks from traffic that squanders valuable network resources, such as calls with short or no duration, low margins, or poor call completion rates. NexOSS can be deployed as either a SIP proxy or a SIP redirect server.
