TMC names VTech a 2018 Communications Solutions Products of the Year Award Winner

ErisTerminal VDP650 Recognized for Exceptional Innovation BEAVERTON, OR (August 14, 2018) — VTech Communications, Inc., a global leader and manufacturer of SIP-based phones, announced today that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has awarded the ErisTerminal® VDP650 Cordless 4-Line Mobility Series a 2018 Communications Solutions Products of the Year Award. “Congratulations to VTech for being honored with a Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “The VDP650 Series is truly an innovative product and is amongst the best communications products and services available in 2018. I look forward to continued excellence from VTech in 2018 and beyond.” The ErisTerminal VDP650 Cordless 4- Line Series with key system emulation features cordless desksets and cordless handsets, which provide small businesses with complete communication mobility without sacrificing the familiarity of traditional desktop setups. The series includes the VDP650 SIP DECT 4-Line Base Station, VDP651 DECT Cordless 4-Line Handset, and VDP658 SIP DECT Cordless 4-Line Deskset. Because the VDP658 deskset requires no power outlet to operate, employees can physically move the deskset from one location to another. The VDP650 base station offers a generous 500 feet of coverage range to prevent signal loss. “We’re extremely honored to received the 2018 Communications Solutions Products of the Year Award for the VDP650 Cordless Series—one of our most successful family of products on the market,” said Chad Collins, vice president of sales, Americas, VTech Communications, Inc. “We designed these phones to improve employee communication and customer service by emulating a traditional 4 Line Key System in an active small business environment. Employees can move around a space, all while easily managing internal and external calls.” The VDP651 is the only cordless handset on the market that displays the status of four lines of incoming calls via backlit LED line keys. Because of this, employees can easily handle multiple calls, and always know who’s on hold and which customers need attention. The handset’s key system emulation operation means someone can place a call on hold with one button, and then retrieve the call from another device. Calls made to a main number can be easily directed to the correct employees without interruption. From there, employees can answer, hold or transfer incoming calls directly from the handset. Restaurants, retail stores and many other small businesses are likely to find the key system emulation an ideal communications feature for their busy workplaces.
