SpatialBuzz shortlisted for Mobile Industry Award

GUILDFORD, UK: 25 April 2014 — SpatialBuzz, an innovative cloud-based customer experience analytics and service monitoring platform for network operators, has announced that it has been shortlisted in the Best Software Solution category in the Mobile Industry Awards 2014, which are organised by Mobile Today magazine. “The mobile software solutions market is seeing exponential growth in the UK," said Matthew Campelli of Mobile Today. “As demand continues to grow across key sectors, including health, education, logistics and security, it is clear that mobile software solutions are becoming central to the successful growth and development of businesses across the UK, and we have added this new category to the Mobile Industry Awards to reflect this. The awards have attracted a large number of strong entries, and the shortlists represent the very best of these.” The entries are judged by a team of leading mobile industry figures, based on a range of criteria that include: features of software solution; testimonials from customers and partners in the UK mobile sector; focus of business; commercial performance; and a case study. The Awards will be presented at a prestigious dinner to be held on Thursday 5 June at The Brewery in Chiswell Street, London. SpatialBuzz’s customer testimonial and case study were both provided by Telefónica UK, one of its UK mobile operator customers. Telefónica UK gives its mobile subscribers real-time access to live network status information and detailed coverage maps; both powered by SpatialBuzz’s online system. This improves customer experience and fosters loyalty to the network operator, and in many cases can avoid the need for them to phone the network call centre. A video of the case study can be seen online at http://www.spatialbuzz.com/case-studies. SpatialBuzz harnesses the power of customer experience analytics to enable operators to better understand service issues by analyzing in real time where customers and agents are performing network status checks. The SpatialBuzz systems perform sophisticated spatio-temporal analytics on the usage of each of the information touch-points to identify both live network service issues as perceived by customers and areas with longer-term issues. These analytics enable the operator to obtain early warning of emerging issues, focus resources on improving network performance in the areas most important to customers and monitor service improvement following corrective actions. The same information is provided seamlessly to the customer across multiple touch-points ‑ online tools, mobile handset apps, and the systems used by customer service employees, who also have access to a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) containing the most up-to-date network performance information available. “We are honoured to be shortlisted for a Mobile Industry Award, which is a testament to our capability in helping mobile operators deliver more transparent, consistent and proactive services to their customers,” said Andrew Blake, CTO of SpatialBuzz. “The SpatialBuzz platform has already won the Telecoms.com Award for CEM this year, and this nomination is a further endorsement of our success in transforming customer experience and promoting brand loyalty.” More information about the Mobile Industry Awards can be found at http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/awards/
