Immediate access to secure, end-to-end networking service now widely available January 27, 2015 - Mississauga, Ontario - Skkynet Cloud Systems, Inc. (OTC.BB:SKKY), global leader in real-time cloud information systems, announces open registration for its Secure Cloud Service, giving system integrators, engineers, and managers of industrial, embedded, and Internet of Things (IoT) systems quick and easy access to a secure, end-to-end solution for networking data in real time. The Secure Cloud Service enables bidirectional supervisory control, integration, and sharing of data with multiple users, and real-time access to selected data sets in a web browser.  The service is capable of handling over 50,000 data changes per second per client, at speeds just a few milliseconds over Internet latency. "The Secure Cloud Service has been meeting and exceeding expectations of select clients and now we are ready to offer it to a wider audience," said Paul Thomas, President of Skkynet. "Anyone from any company can now sign up, connect their equipment or system, and right away provide data monitoring or control capabilities to any authorized user at any location, in real time." "Setting up the Secure Cloud Service interface was intuitive and fast," said a system integrator in Texas, working on a solar power project. "The documentation was well written and I encountered no issues as one might expect in building this type of interface. From configuring the Modbus poller to seeing my data up in the cloud on a display took not more than 30 minutes, which included the learning curve. My typical experience in developing HMI systems is they involve a lot of setup and software installation time, but this was totally new. The Silverlight-based configuration tools which ran right in the browser are powerful and timesaving. The combination of features provided by the Cogent DataHub®, when combined with the Secure Cloud Service, greatly simplify and fast track the development of a full featured monitoring system. We are finding this product to be ideal for providing 3rd party visibility to photovoltaic systems and are also considering its use to replace traditional on-site SCADA." First opened on a trial basis for selected customers in August 2014, the Secure Cloud Service has been used extensively, and rigorously tested for performance and security. During that time Skkynet has enhanced the system technically by increasing the range of connectible embedded devices and the number of supported data protocols, as well as automating the customer registration process. Skkynet's Secure Cloud Service allows industrial and embedded systems to securely network live data in real time from any location. Secure by design, it requires no VPN, no open firewall ports, no special programming, and no additional hardware. More at http://skkynet.com/solutions/cloud
