SCANSOURCE HOSTS 1COMM ON THE ROAD 2016 IN GREENVILLE, SC HEADQUARTERS

GREENVILLE, SC – ScanSource, Inc., a leading global provider of technology products and solutions, hosted its 1Comm on the Road 2016 event, with its Catalyst and Communications business units, both providers of communications products and sales units of ScanSource, Inc., in its hometown of Greenville, South Carolina, on October 4-5, 2016. The regional roadshows were held in three locations throughout the United States in 2016. To help resellers finish strong in 2016 and capitalize on business growth in 2017, 1Comm on the Road offered opportunities for resellers to network with peers and ScanSource executives, build business opportunities and gain expert insights through breakout sessions and a vendor expo. “At ScanSource, our goal is to serve as a trusted advisor to help our resellers succeed,” said David Hertwig, president of ScanSource Catalyst. “1Comm on the Road was tailored to assist our new and existing partners to enter new markets and explore innovative and profitable technologies and services.” ScanSource vendors Avaya and Polycom gave presentations at 1Comm on leading the way to a new era of innovation, and the workplace of the future. In addition, the keynote address discussed the recent acquisition of Intelisys by ScanSource, Inc., detailing how the companies will provide new opportunities for resellers and sales partners. The event also featured numerous vendor workshops and a golf invitational tournament in memory and honor of former ScanSource Catalyst President John Black. “ScanSource is proud to be rooted in Greenville, and we were excited to host our valued resellers and partners in our hometown for this unique networking opportunity,” said Rich Long, president of ScanSource Communications.
