Sarenet reinforces its cybersecurity solutions after signing with Nozomi Networks

It complements its offer as a Fortinet MSSP Gold Partner and thus becomes a benchmark in cybersecurity for Industry 4.0
February 13, 2020 in INTEREMPRESAS - Sarenet has signed a collaboration agreement with Nozomi Networks, a company specialized in security solutions for OT and IoT networks, offering its clients an additional layer of managed security aimed at the ICS (Industrial Control Systems) and SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data) environments Acquisition).
This solution is added to Sarenet's managed security offer, which includes border firewalls, application firewalls, MPLS flow control service and perimeter defense against denial of service (DDoS) attacks among others, both for manufacturing environments as for corporate environments.
Within the framework of Sarenet's decided commitment to Industry 4.0, the operator has decided to go one step further with the addition of Guardian to its portfolio of security tools and thus become a benchmark for managed industrial cybersecurity. It is a flexible and open solution, compatible with different firewall manufacturers and interacts with other perimeter security providers (Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, FireEye ...) and OT network interconnection systems (Siemens, Schneider Electric ...) . This agreement is added to what the company maintains as a provider of managed security services (MSSP) Gold Partner of Fortinet, which accredits it as a reference in security solutions in Industry 4.0.
It is a complete scalable platform based on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning that detects, monitors and mitigates risks in a matter of minutes, thus ensuring the most critical assets of the OT infrastructure. By providing easy IT / OT integration, Sarenet can offer the customer a total and unified visibility of the operations carried out in different plants or centers through customizable and easily integrated control panels.
In a first phase Guardian detects all the devices that are in the infrastructure to create an IP inventory, analyzing the operation of the recognition processes with scans of the industrial network. In a second stage, it warns of any anomalous behavior or vulnerability and generates an alert, being able to block users or even close sessions that endanger the security of the infrastructure. It does not, however, affect the performance of the OT network and provides visibility into the different control and process layers.
Currently, Nozomi Networks exceeds 1,000 installations worldwide and has deployed more than 300,000 monitored devices on five continents, practically in all industrial sectors.
