Sarah Guthrie Joins One Colorado’s Board of Directors

February 10, 2022 - Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Sarah Guthrie, an associate in its Denver office, has been elected to the board of directors of One Colorado, the state’s leading advocacy organization dedicated to advancing equality for LGBTQ+ Coloradans and their families. During her two-year term, Guthrie will help the organization with its legislative and community outreach efforts. As a member of the queer community, Guthrie says she is passionate about the organization’s mission and LGBTQ+ equality. “Throughout my life, I have experienced firsthand the struggles that many in the queer community face on a daily basis,” she said. “I have witnessed, and I have had to reconcile for myself, the lasting impact that fear, discrimination and unconscious bias have on the lives and happiness of LGTBQ+ individuals. One Colorado is an organization that has demonstrated great dedication to addressing the barriers that LGBTQ+ members face in everyday life in a meaningful and effective way. My hope is that—through the efforts of organizations like One Colorado—future generations of LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies have access to the resources and aid they need to live fulfilling lives as equals.” For more information, visit  https://one-colorado.org/.
