RingSquared Completes Acquisition of Crocker Communications, Inc.

RingSquared Becomes the Exclusive Fiber-Based Internet Service Provider for Block Island

Pittsfield/Chicopee, MA - October 15, 2024 - RingSquared is pleased to announce the completion of its acquisition of Crocker Communications, Inc. This strategic move strengthens RingSquared’s position as a leading fiber broadband provider across Western Massachusetts and accelerates its mission to deliver advanced connectivity to businesses, the public sector, and residents throughout the region with both AccessPlus and Crocker Communications.

With regulatory approvals now complete, this is the third successful acquisition in recent years for the organization in central and western Massachusetts, solidifying RingSquared and AccessPlus as the dominant internet service and unified communications provider in the area. RingSquared is integrating Crocker’s extensive customer base, serving around 2,000 government, education, business, and residential clients with AccessPlus. Crocker Communications provides a substantial IP backbone, serves as the exclusive internet access provider for Block Island, Rhode Island, and supplies connectivity to many of Massachusetts’ educational districts and municipalities.

Crocker customers will now have access to AccessPlus’ expanded business connectivity options, as well as multi-gigabit fiber broadband services, starting in Pittsfield and expanding throughout Berkshire County.
