The addition of Glip to RingCentral’s portfolio is also really impressive. We’ve been quickly adopting Glip throughout our organization, communicating, sharing documents, and collaborating on projects.” As part of the deployment, RingCentral is customizing its offering to suit the needs of Teachers College giving their students a product that provides easy extension dialing and quick dialing to key student resources, such as on-campus security. Deployment of RingCentral is currently underway and will be supported by RingCentral’s implementation team who will assist Teachers College IT personnel in a smooth and seamless rollout. “Cloud adoption and mobile ubiquity is fueling the demand to untether people from antiquated on-premise phone systems, and replace them with smart cloud-based solutions that deliver voice, text, audio conferencing, video meetings, and a host of other innovative capabilities,” said Vlad Shmunis, CEO, founder and chairman of RingCentral. “We’re thrilled to be chosen by Teachers College, Columbia University to provide next generation enterprise communications.” The selection of RingCentral by Columbia happened through RingCentral’s indirect channel, which is validation of the importance and growing impact of this channel for RingCentral.
