RingCentral Executive Kira Makagon Selected for YWCA Silicon Valley’s 2015 Tribute to Women Award

San Mateo, Calif. – February 18, 2015 – RingCentral, Inc. (NYSE: RNG), a leading provider of cloud business communications solutions, today announced that Kira Makagon, the company’s Executive Vice President, Innovation, was among a group of outstanding executive women selected for the prestigious YWCA Silicon Valley Tribute to Women Award. As one of 36 women selected for the honor, Makagon will attend the YWCA awards dinner in May. At the dinner, three women will be acknowledged as Emerging Leaders by the YWCA Silicon Valley, an organization that has been honoring women who display exceptional leadership skills and recognizing companies that promote women to executive positions since 1986. Over the years, the YWCA Silicon Valley has honored over 1,200 women executives and 400 companies in a variety of industries, including the high tech, medical, education, law, real estate, non-profit and banking sectors. The companies recognized by the YWCA range in size and structure, but they all share the same principle of valuing executive women and the unique perspective they bring to their roles. Companies that have participated nearly every year include Applied Materials, Cisco Systems, El Camino Hospital, IBM, Lockheed Martin Space Systems, San Jose State University and Xilinx. This year’s top event sponsors include Cisco Systems, Presenting; Gilead Sciences, Reception and IBM, Honoree Luncheon. Makagon was nominated by her colleague Clyde Hosein, who serves as CFO at RingCentral. “Kira has an inspirational leadership style,” Hosein observed. “She has made a positive impact at RingCentral by championing gender equality in the workplace and in the larger community.
