Hoera! Speakup has existed for nearly 15 years. Therefore, we are organizing our 2018 Partner & Jubilee Event in Enschede on Thursday 20 September 2018. A fun & inspiring day, full of information, innovation, inspiration, speakers and a tad of planned chaos. Naturally fully cared for! We would like to take this opportunity to tell you all about what Speakup is working on and what you can expect from us in the near future. In addition, we - together with you - like to deviate from the beaten track and go exploring outside of our comfort zone.

With the theme 'taking matters into control', 'taking matters into your hands', 'keeping things in control', Speakup promises you a day full of contrasts and handles for you and your business! We would like to take you into our story, full of new insights and eye-openers, speakers and keynote. This way you will return home after a fun day full of inspiration.
The story of Speakup
What would you do? New disruptive technologies are changing our world and current business models are no longer working. Then you take a step as a company, right? That is exactly what we did at Speakup. Our story begins in September 2003, when Florian Overkamp started Speakup with the groundbreaking VoIP technology, 'calling via the internet' by linking open-source systems. In addition to cost reduction, the most important distinctive character was the safe environment of our network. This philosophy has been extended over the years with the awareness of the safe processing of personal data.
In the past 15 years, a lot has changed in the world of communication, our passion for technology and the pursuit of freedom by guaranteeing privacy and security have always remained the same. In order to keep up with changes in the future, Speakup has changed its strategy and vision. Are you curious about the continuation of our story? Florian and Rick tell the story of Speakup during "The handle" and indicate which path they take together and what this can mean for you.

Day chairman the Bucket Boys
'NO does not exist, because these guys think in possibilities!' The cheeky and headstrong presentation duo Thijs & Joep, aka Bucket Boys, is known for their creative and controversial videos. A real viral machine, which often scores more than 100,000 views. The friends distinguish themselves with out of the box ideas and their urge for the impossible. The men have proven that there is enthusiasm for the content they make. For example, the major news sites write about their actions almost weekly and are regularly invited to Radio & TV shows. And they present the program How Do They Do It? on Discovery. This positive duo owes its success to their perseverance, enthusiasm and a healthy portion of brutality and they will take on the role of chairman during the Partner & Jubilee Event 2018 all day long!
Keynote speakers the Fountainheads
'You Snooze You Lose ... .. So Get Up'. Do you recognize that? The alarm goes and you press the 'snooze button' for a moment. Wonderful 9 minutes in 'dreamland'. Dreaming about how great the economy is, the great (individual) success and the fantastic business results and profit. As you continue to sleep, the world around you is changing rapidly. The market (developments) do not wait for sleeping heads and snoozers. Fountainheads Jan-Henk Bouman and Wim van Rooijen stand together on stage and have been studying the rapidly changing world around us for 6 years now as trend experts * and translate these developments into stories for you as an entrepreneur and entrepreneurial person. Why should you become a Trend Explorer and structurally have to schedule 'function-free time'? And, how do you do that? Let your blinkers open up to the maximum with some verbal violence, let yourself be surprised and surprised by Fountainheads.

Location of the Speakup Event
For the location of our event we went looking for a unique place that contributes to a day full of contrasts and our story. This was found in De Museumfabriek in Enschede, which is located in the former textile factory Het Rozendaal. Rozendaal was an import and export company in cotton waste. The complex has various cultural functions, making it the cultural heart of the new district Het Roombeek. Almost all of the Netherlands has the Roombeek district of the fireworks disaster in 2000, in which 171 tons of fireworks exploded in the middle of the residential area. The building is on the Enschede cultural heritage lists and has been spared during the explosion.
Feel welcome in the former textile factory, where in the past polishing cloths were woven and the train drove through the high doors to deliver the cotton. The rails are no longer there, but the interior still betrays the earlier dynamics. A craftsmanship on which the foundation of Enschede (Speakup's home base) is built. Your inner person is cared for throughout the day from the traditional kitchen of the restaurant, where everything is freshly prepared. We work with regional products. For example, the traditional types of bread are prepared with flour from the nearby Lonneker Molen. In short: a special location where we would like to receive you!
