Java keynote by Oracle, as well as the Intel keynote begin Sunday, October 25 at the Moscone North Hall D and the community and IBM keynotes will be held on Thursday, October 29 at the Marriott Marquis, Salon 7/8/9. JavaOne 2015 includes more than 400 technical sessions and more than 60 exhibitors. The conference is organized into eight learning tracks, which include 1) Core Java Platform, 2) Java and Security, 3) Emerging Languages, 4) Java, DevOps and the Cloud, 5) Java and the Internet of Things, 6) Java and Server-Side Development, 7) Java Clients and User Interfaces, and 8) Java Development Tools and Agile Techniques. The JavaOne Exhibition Hall is located in the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Grand Ballroom and gives conference attendees the opportunity to see hands-on demos of technologies and enterprise solutions spanning the Java ecosystem. The Java Hub will showcase the Geek Bar, the MakerZone, and the Oracle Technology Network Community Café. In celebration of 20 years of innovation, attendees will see a unique and interactive twenty year display that focuses on the past, present and future of Java at the Parc 55. Additionally, a three-dimensional mosaic will be created from thousands of individual attendee photos uploaded during JavaOne by attendees via computer or mobile device.
JavaOne4Kids sponsored by Oracle Academy, Target and Devoxx4Kids, takes place Saturday October 24, 2015 and is offered for children 10 to 18 years old. In collaboration with Oracle Academy and Devoxx4Kids, this event has sessions that include several topics like Greenfoot, Alice, Minecraft modding, Java, Scratch, Raspberry Pi and Arduino development boards, programmable robotic devices, and others.
