Most Admired Leader: James Kaiser, J-Curve Technologies

January 4, 2018 - James Kaiser is founder, president and CEO of J-Curve Technologies, the 200-employee Tempe-based business that provides technology enabled cloud services support for several of the largest companies in the retail, telecom and streaming TV media industries. Kaiser, 47, is responsible for the company’s overall vision, leadership and strategic direction. The Arizona State University graduate is a serial entrepreneur and recognized corporate leader with proven success. He has 25 years of experience in the telecom, cloud services, business-process-as-a-service and software-as-a-service industries. Prior to founding J-Curve in 2005, Kaiser started several other companies, including Fusion, a Scottsdale based call center, which he grew to 450 employees before selling his portion to an investment group for an undisclosed price. He also was a professor of practice at ASU, pioneering the first sales course in the school’s history. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, he was a corporate executive at Seattle-based MCI WorldCom with responsibility for over $1 billion in revenue. Kaiser has invested countless hours of his personal time to important community causes. He has sat on the board of American Heart Association, Camp Soaring Eagle and North Scottsdale Little League. He is an avid youth sports coach, and for the past several years has coached boys and girls flag football, baseball, softball, hockey and golf.
