Cooley business department chair one of only three lawyers selected to the 2018 list
Reston – September 24, 2018 – The Washingtonian again named Cooley partner Mike Lincoln a Tech Titan as part of its list of Washington’s top tech leaders. This marks the sixth consecutive time Lincoln has been recognized by the publication as one of the most important and innovative people in the DC metropolitan area’s digital economy. The Washingtonian’s Tech Titans list features leading Washington-based individuals in the categories of entrepreneurs, government, lobbyists, financiers, industry leaders, lawyers, cybersecurity specialists and networkers, nonprofits and incubators. Year-over-year, Lincoln is recognized for his influential status in the legal industry, having also been
named to the Washington Business Journal’s Power 100 in October 2017 for the fifth time running. Lincoln is the firmwide head of Cooley’s business department and his practice focuses on emerging companies, venture capital, M&A and private equity. He played an integral role in establishing Cooley as a dominant presence on the East Coast, and particularly the DC venture capital market, when he co-founded the Reston office more than a decade ago.
