LogMeIn Named One of World's Top Cloud Service Providers

Ranked as Top Massachusetts-based Cloud Service Provider; #17 Worldwide BOSTON, Aug. 2, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogMeIn, Inc. (Nasdaq:LOGM) has been named a Top 100 Cloud Services Provider by Talkin' Cloud and ranked as the top cloud service provider in Massachusetts. The annual list--also known as the Talkin' Cloud 100--tracks the world's top 100 cloud services providers, cloud aggregators, cloud brokers, cloud integrators, VARs and MSPs focused on cloud computing and cloud services. Ranked in the top 20 percent at #17, LogMeIn was recognized for the development of a new channel program focused on cloud services, as well as the company's recent expansion into new markets, including cloud file sync and sharing (via Cubby), online meeting and screen sharing (via join.me), and cloud app management (via AppGuru). The Talkin' Cloud 100 report is based on data from Talkin' Cloud's online survey, conducted January through May 2013. The report recognizes top cloud service providers based on such metrics as annual cloud services revenue growth in actual dollars and in percentage growth rates. In total, the Top 100 CSPs generated more than $15.7 billion in combined cloud services revenues in 2012, up nearly 37 percent, according to the report. Inclusion in the Talkin' Cloud 100 comes on the heels of the launch of LogMeIn Elevate, LogMeIn's new channel program designed to help managed service providers (MSPs), value-added resellers (VARs) and other outsourced IT service providers capitalize on the growing shift to cloud-based apps and employee-introduced technology. It also gives channel partners new tools and methods for managing users across devices that blur work and personal lines, as well as across cloud-based apps and related data that span this myriad of devices. As a result, channel partners can better address the management realities of today's cloud-centric workplace, build stronger relationships with their clients, expand their portfolio, boost margins, and create new revenue streams. Eight Massachusetts companies made the distinguished list, including three in Boston. Among them, LogMeIn (#17) and Carbonite (#20) represented Massachusetts in the top 20.
