IntelePeer Unveils Online Marketplace for Hosted Communications and Collaboration Applications

Fluent Marketplace to Transform Business Communications With Best-of-Breed Applications; Easy to Deploy and Certified to Deliver Quality Performance Over IntelePeer Fluent Federation as a Service IntelePeer logoSAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 16, 2013) - At BroadSoft Connections, IntelePeer, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand, cloud-based communications, today announced the Fluent Marketplace, an online communications application exchange where businesses can shop for specialized communications and collaboration applications from service providers and vendors. IntelePeer announced three new partners that will provide their services via the Fluent Marketplace: CTI Group, Subsentio and Inference Solutions. The company is offering a preview of the Fluent Marketplace in Booth #9 at the BroadSoft Connections executive user conference, October 16-18, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego. The new offering is designed to allow application developers and IntelePeer partners to distribute their applications to enterprise customers via IntelePeer's Fluent Federation as a Service, speeding deployment of new services with ease, simplicity and cost savings. Fluent provides seamless, low-cost global interconnectivity while supporting premium services such as HD audio and video, while Fluent Marketplace adds consolidation and simplification of ordering, billing and service via a single portal. IntelePeer will test and pre-certify all applications to meet critical performance and quality requirements, assuring seamless reliability and interoperability with customers' existing communications services and equipment. "There are two market trends that illustrate the growing demand for a communications application exchange," said Margaret Norton, chief marketing officer (CMO) for IntelePeer. "On one hand, we see business executives who want to be able to choose communications applications tailored to meet their communications needs, yet want to avoid the complexity and resources often associated with deploying new services from multiple vendors. On the other hand, we work with application providers who want to focus on creating and selling customized high-value applications without worrying about connections, billing, support and account management issues. Our Fluent Marketplace brings business customers and application vendors together in a simple, efficient way." Three New Fluent Marketplace Partners CTI Group, Subsentio and Inference Solutions are partnering with IntelePeer to bring their applications to the Fluent Marketplace. Additional application partners will be announced in the future. CTI Group's SmartRecord offers a call recording solution that integrates with BroadSoft-based unified communications systems and is currently deployed through more than 60 BroadSoft service providers across four continents. SmartRecord is suitable for regulatory recording for those companies that need to meet compliance standards and also provides recording for the purposes of liability protection and for call center environments. Subsentio is a leading provider of lawful intercept solutions for communications service providers (CSPs). Unique in the industry, Subsentio's service bureau approach spans advanced technology, legal expertise and hands-on experience with law enforcement agencies to ensure CSP compliance with the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA). "We are pleased to join the Fluent Marketplace and work with IntelePeer," said Steve Bock, president of Subsentio. "Fluent is a strategic channel for introducing CSPs to Subsentio's capability to deliver CALEA compliance while protecting the privacy of customers." Inference Solutions offers an innovative range of speech-enabled inbound and outbound IVR contact center applications. Leveraging their "no code" IVR service creation environment, Inference customers have realized the benefits of reduced operating costs while providing an enhanced customer experience through dozens of IVR applications such as customer surveys, appointment reminders and account self-service. "IntelePeer's Fluent Marketplace offers an intriguing approach for bringing communications applications to the market," said Michael Brandenburg, industry analyst with the Frost & Sullivan Information and Communications Technologies group. "This application exchange offers application vendors the ability to compete efficiently, while enabling enterprise customers to choose from a menu of applications that meet needs ranging from specialized contact center offerings to a unified communications stack, all connected through IntelePeer's infrastructure."
