From June 18 to 26, the Transmission Control Unit (MATRANS) tested its telecommunication networks in the TIWAR 19 interoperability exercise.
TIWAR 19
is an exercise developed by the
Transmission Command (MATRANS)
in coordination with other units of the
Land Force (FUTER)
, and which aims to prepare and maintain itself in the best conditions to respond to the challenges that arise in the frame of the
horizon 2035
.
Grupo TRC
acted as
Red Team
from the unit deployed in Paterna - Valencia, represented by our cybersecurity engineers
Elena Calvo
and
Jorge Esquinas
.
Our action was based on representing a
real threat compromising the integrity of the deployed systems
, including the cyberdefense incident generation and injection system, while the
Electronic War Regiment (REW-31)
engineers constantly monitored the intrusion, in order to put underway the scaling procedures and
react optimally without affecting the operability of its operations.
From
Grupo TRC we
appreciate the dedication of the entire organization and team of
TIWAR
for allowing us to work and enjoy side by side with this experience with
MATRANS
members . It has been an honor to be part of this project, and we hope to participate in future actions.
