July 1, 2022 - Grupo Aire, a group of technology companies, has today inaugurated its Talavera de la Reina Data Processing Center (CPD), which has had an investment of 1.3 million euros. The event was attended by the Minister of Finance and Public Administrations of Castilla La Mancha, Juan Alfonso Ruiz Molina; the mayor of Talavera de la Reuba, Tita García Élez, the Commercial Director of Marketing and Clients of Grupo Aire, Carlos Cortés; the director of Engineering and Technology of Grupo Aire, Zigor Gaubeca; and the director of Oasix, the cloud and datacenter division of Grupo Aire, Carlos García. The new CPD already has important clients in the region who will develop their business there in the coming weeks. Oasix, the Group's cloud and datacenter division , which in its commitment to regionalization and localization currently has its own proximity data processing centers in Valencia, Zaragoza, Malaga , Lisbon and Elche (Alicante), to which new facilities will be added in the coming months in different locations nationwide. The new Oasix datacenter will have a significant direct impact on the local and regional economy, turning the town of Toledo into a nerve center in the field of connectivity and cloud services . SMEs, large companies in the sector and public administrations will benefit from having facilities prepared to offer next-generation cloud services and with the maximum guarantees. The new data center also becomes a pole of attraction for start-ups that need to have this type of proximity infrastructure. All this will also revert to the creation of jobs, some of them highly qualified, turning the new data center into a catalyst for economic growth in the area. The Minister of Finance and Public Administrations, Juan Alfonso Ruiz Molina, has highlighted the commitment of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha to digital transformation and has assured that "it is not a slogan, it is an opportunity that we are taking advantage of to change the production model of the region”, making tradition compatible with innovation.
