Edgewater Networks, the leader in Network Edge Orchestration, today announced that it has certified its line of EdgeMarc Intelligent Edges with
Yealink’s T4 Series Desktop IP Phones in its
QuickConnect Interoperability Lab. Edgewater Networks certification testing includes Yealink models SIP-T48G, SIP-T46G, SIP-T41P, and SIP-T40P, documented in a standard configuration guide for easy deployment and integration between Edgewater Networks and Yealink endpoints in a BroadSoft VoIP environment.
“The demand for SIP enabled phones by companies of all sizes has been expanding rapidly for the last several years, and we expect that trend to continue,” said Stone Lu, Vice President of Yealink, “Our QuickConnect certification status ensures that service providers deploying Yealink phones with Edgewater Networks’ EdgeMarcs will experience seamless installations at customer sites with a reduced OpEx, and will also realize optimized voice quality through the central and proactive management of all endpoints.” Edgewater Networks’ Network Edge Orchestration platform includes a cloud-based EdgeView Service Control Center and customer premises-based EdgeMarc Intelligent Edges, which together offer a host of functionality and benefits, including zero-touch provisioning and configuration, security, and active service management. Endpoints, such as the Yealink T4 series IP phones, are connected directly to the EdgeMarc intelligent edges, giving service providers the ability to remotely monitor, configure, and troubleshoot all endpoints through the EdgeView Service Control Center. The Yealink
T4 series IP phones cover users from receptionists to executives and from SMBs to large enterprises. The phones deliver enhanced sound quality with Yealink Optimal HD Voice technology (with TIA 920 certification). Advanced features that help users increase daily communication efficiency and productivity include three-way conferencing, support for gigabit networks (T46G/T48G), Bluetooth headset compatibility (T46G/T48G), and rich programmable DSS keys for customizations. “Edgewater Networks is excited to include Yealink as a technology partner and validate interoperability in our QuickConnect Lab,” said Steve Pattison, Senior Vice President Strategy and Corporate Development at Edgewater Networks. “Using our combined platforms for the delivery of voice services enables service providers and customers to optimize the overall UC user experience from initial installation to ongoing technical support.” To learn more, please visit
