DoubleHorn Combines Avaya-Compliant Managed SIP Trunks with Avaya Platforms

Simplifying Unified Communications and Collaboration Management DoubleHorn Communications, an award-winning provider of managed business communications and hosted IT and cloud services, today announced a unique comprehensive Avaya-centric Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) solution. The offering combines DoubleHorn’s Avaya-compliant managed SIP Trunks with either Avaya Aura® Communication Manager 6.2, Avaya Aura® Session Manager 6.3 or Avaya IP Office 8.1, and includes the MyDoubleHorn Communications Platform, which gives users added control over their UC&C environment. The DoubleHorn bundled solutions are designed to meet the needs of small to mid-size enterprises (SMEs) with 20 – 2,000 employees.  For most of these companies to benefit from UC&C they must overcome several challenges, including: sourcing software and related hardware components from numerous vendors, making significant capital expenditures, conducting testing to ensure interoperability of all components, tasking employees with day-to-day infrastructure management to maintain performance and availability, and typically dealing with multiple vendors anytime a problem arises that affects the UC&C environment. In contrast, DoubleHorn has created a comprehensive bundle that includes all hardware, software and services in a single, managed solution, backed by an end-to-end Service Level Agreement (SLA).  DoubleHorn has done the hard work of testing and proving interoperability between the company’s Avaya-Compliant managed SIP trunk, Avaya UC&C platforms, and the underlying transport network.
