Palo Alto – September 19, 2019 – Fortune has again recognized Cooley as a Best Workplace for Women. Ranking #4 in the large companies category, Cooley has been the top law firm on the list for five years in a row. Fortune partners with Great Place to Work, a research and consulting firm, to select the Best Workplaces for Women list. Great Place to Work analyzed anonymous feedback representing more than 4.6 million US employees. The rankings are based on what women themselves report in a 60-question survey about their workplace, how fairly those experiences compare to men’s reports of the same workplaces and how well represented women are in the workforce and throughout management. Earlier this year, Fortune
named Cooley to its 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the sixth consecutive time. In addition, Fortune has highlighted the firm on its best workplace lists for millennials, diversity, parents, flexibility, giving back and consulting and professional services. Cooley is often recognized for its unique and empowering culture. The Women in Law Empowerment Forum recently certified Cooley
as a Gold Standard law firm for the eighth time, while Diversity Lab
distinguished the firm with Mansfield “Plus” status for successfully reaching at least 30 percent diverse lawyer representation in a notable number of current leadership roles and committees.
