Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, May 20, 2013 --
Clear2there, a leading provider of advanced video surveillance, smart-home, smart-business, and smart-farm applications, and M2M solutions for service providers and enterprises, announced that Craig Steen, the company’s president and chief executive officer, will present at the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association Annual Convention. The event will take place May 20 through 23, 2013, at the Lake Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. In a session co-hosted by Cliff Albertson, general manager of Badger Communications, Steen will introduce simple and efficient methods for deploying smart-home and smart-business programs that create recurring revenue, reduce churn, and offer enhanced subscriber satisfaction. Titled “Smart-Home and Smart-Business – New Revenue Source – Simple and Efficient Deployments”, the session will address different architectures and methods to leverage thin-client gateways, CO-based servers, and the Cloud to deliver powerful, customer-centric features. Steen will use a live technology demonstration and will draw upon recent deployments in Wisconsin to provide tactical examples of best practices for deploying simple and effective smart home, business, farm, and healthcare services. He will also address common questions and concerns that he has heard from operating companies across the country concerning training, installation, operations and maintenance, and integration with existing billing and back-office systems. The session is set for Wednesday, May 22 at 1:30 pm. “In today’s highly competitive telecommunications services market, consumers are demanding more advanced capabilities from their service providers,” said Steen. “By offering customers a compelling and easy-to-use smart-premise solution suite, providers not only gain a competitive advantage, but they can also tap into an entirely new revenue stream. These solutions can make a significant contribution to the bottom line by enabling self-monitoring options for smart home, business, farm and healthcare services which further monetize last mile infrastructure, while in turn satisfying customers with instant access monitoring services through Internet-enabled smart devices.” Clear2there staff will be on hand to showcase the smart-premise solutions through mobile devices directly from the exhibition floor throughout the conference.
