Clear2there Expands Smart-Home and Smart-Business Solution Deployments To Thirteen States

Local Service Providers Express Escalating Interest in Self-Monitored Smart-Premise Solutions

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, October 17, 2012—Clear2there LLC, a leading provider of advanced video surveillance, smart-home and smart-business, communications, and M2M solutions for service providers and enterprises, announced that with its most recent deployment in Alaska, Clear2there has now deployed smart-premise solutions using the Viewbiquity Cloud Applications Suite (VCAS) platform with local service providers in thirteen states across the country. “We have seen an overwhelming amount of interest from local telephone companies, broadband providers, and cable operators who see smart-premise services as an attractive vehicle to satisfy customer needs and generate new recurring revenue,” said Craig Steen, president and chief executive officer of Clear2there. “Service providers that have invested in deploying broadband infrastructure recognize that they are in the perfect position to offer these compelling services to their subscribers. We anticipate that the number of inquiries we receive will only increase as operators begin to experience success through these early rollouts.” According to Steen, trials and commercial deployments are underway with operators in Alaska, Colorado, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin. The VCAS platform enables service providers to deploy smart-premise solutions to businesses, farms and consumers using a hybrid of cloud- and central office-based resources that maximize operational efficiency, revenue potential, and customer satisfaction. Through these services, subscribers can monitor and manage a wide range of functions from their smartphone, tablet, or any Internet-connected device. Popular services being offered by service providers include self-monitored energy management, security, video surveillance, access control, and notifications. “With self-monitoring and an efficient balance of Central Office-based and Cloud-based resources, service providers are realizing that they can deliver a profitable yet cost-effective service that today’s savvy consumers are looking for,” continued Steen. “We expect that the success of our current customers will encourage many more service providers to reach out to us and find out how they can capitalize on these services.” More at www.clear2there.com
