February 1, 2021 - Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Amma Marfowaa-Nuako has joined the firm as a diversity and inclusion specialist, based in its Denver office. In this newly created role, Marfowaa-Nuako will support Ali Metzl, the firm’s chair of diversity, inclusion and equity, and work directly with Brownstein’s Committee on Diversity, Inclusion and Equity; Women’s Leadership Initiative; affinity groups and business teams to help implement the firm’s diversity, inclusion and equity priorities and enhance the firm’s impact. Marfowaa-Nuako brings a variety of experience in strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, employee engagement and talent management to Brownstein. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology/anthropology and internal relations from Lake Forest College and her master’s degree in management and organizational innovation from Queen Mary University of London. She has a Prosci Change Management Certificate and has been a member of the Talent Inclusion Engagement Diversity Leadership Roundtable since 2014. “We are thrilled to welcome Amma to the firm and know that her experience will help us continue to advance our diversity and inclusion efforts within the firm and the legal profession,” said Metzl. “Adding Amma’s role also further highlights Brownstein’s continued commitment to and investment in our diversity and inclusion infrastructure and priorities.”
