Brownstein Attorneys Included in Law Week Colorado’s 2020 Barrister’s Best

November 19, 2020 - Law Week Colorado included three Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck attorneys as winners in its 2020 Barrister’s Best issue. The following attorneys received recognition for their work:
  • Greg Berger - Barrister’s Choice “Best Tax Lawyer”
  • Wayne Forman – Barrister’s Choice “Best Agriculture Lawyer”
  • Jonathan Pray – Barrister’s Choice “Best Construction Defects Lawyer – Defense”
Berger is the chair of Brownstein's Corporate & Business Department. He works closely with the Government Relations Group on representing clients before Congress and Treasury on significant tax policy and legislative issues. He has extensive experience in corporate and partnership taxation, state and local taxation and public finance. Forman has 35 years of experience navigating high-profile land use, water, environmental and condemnation matters. Public entities and private companies throughout the Rocky Mountain region have counted on his experience to handle water rights litigation and transactions, defense of land use entitlements, easement litigation, federal and state permitting, oil and gas disputes and eminent domain proceedings. Pray brings a powerful combination of expertise to his clients in the real estate and construction industries—deep experience as both a litigator and transactional attorney. One of the firm’s lead litigators, he has facilitated the resolution of disputes on some of Denver’s largest development and construction projects. Barrister's Best also recognized Brownstein as both Barrister’s Choice and People's Choice for "Best Lobbying Firm." This year’s Barrister’s Best coverage includes a list of the top lawyers in the state, as selected by their peers and by  Law Week Colorado’s “Barrister.” The full list of results is available in  Law Week Colorado’s Nov. 9 issue.
