February 15, 2022 - Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that John Huber has joined the firm as its chief financial officer. In his role as CFO, Huber will provide executive leadership and direction for the firm’s financial operations and asset management. He will be based in Brownstein’s Denver office and serve as a member of the firm’s Business Leadership Team. “We’re excited to welcome John to the firm,” said Rich Benenson, Brownstein’s managing partner. “His leadership background and finance and accounting experience within the industry will play an important role in ensuring that we are well-positioned for continued success.” Prior to joining Brownstein, Huber served as chief financial officer for Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, where he led and managed a team of 80 finance, accounting and operations personnel and oversaw all financial functions for the law firm and its lobbying affiliate, Michael Best Strategies. Prior to his tenure with Michael Best, he was the director of global management accounting and reporting at Baker McKenzie. “I’m thrilled to join Brownstein and play an important role in ensuring the firm’s financial operations are maintained at a high standard,” said Huber. “I look forward to being a part of this all-in team.” Huber received his master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University. He is a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor.
