May 21, 2022 - Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce it will be moving its Denver headquarters to Block 162, located at 675 15th Street, in the spring of 2023. Brownstein has been a tenant at its current office location, 410 17th Street, for the past four decades. Brownstein currently employs more than 300 attorneys, policy professionals, professional staff and management in Denver, and over 600 employees firmwide. Brownstein will be Block 162’s largest tenant. “Our move to Block 162 in Denver’s central core reaffirms a commitment to the city and Colorado that Norm Brownstein, Jack Hyatt and Steve Farber made when they founded the firm 54 years ago,” said Brownstein’s Managing Partner Rich Benenson. “Our new office space will offer best-in-class amenities for our employees, clients and community partners. We are creating a space where people can collaborate and continue Brownstein’s legacy of excellence for our clients and the community.” The firm was drawn to Block 162 for many reasons including its indoor and outdoor amenities, open and efficient floor plans, access to public transportation, expansion opportunity and the reputation of the developer, Patrinely Group, a Brownstein client for more than 30 years. It is also a LEED Gold building, which aligns with the firm’s sustainability efforts. Brownstein worked with brokers Todd Wheeler and Doug Wulf, both with Cushman & Wakefield. The firm’s architect is Gillian Johnson at Anderson Mason Dale. “Relationships are at the foundation of our firm’s culture and like many businesses coming back from the COVID-19 pandemic, our priority is to recharge our internal and external relationships. Block 162 is an exciting new step for our firm and offers an incredible space for our personnel to connect with each other, our clients and the community,” added Benenson. Brownstein’s Block 162 office space will include approximately 100,000 square feet of continuous space with the firm occupying the 26th–29th floors.
