December 15, 2021 - Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck welcomes Anni Singh to its Corporate & Business Department in Denver as of counsel. Singh is a corporate and transactional attorney with experience in a broad range of commercial and corporate advisory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, corporate restructuring, private equity and venture capital investments, and general corporate governance. Most recently, she worked as a member of the corporate practice group in the Sydney, Australia, office of an international law firm, where she worked across various industries, including space, technology, education, pharmaceuticals, cold storage, oil and gas, and liquor. In addition to her extensive experience in private practice, Singh has served as the assistant general counsel and global compliance manager of a multinational company in Chicago, which gives her a unique understanding of the client’s needs and perspectives. “We are excited to welcome Anni to the firm,” said Greg Berger, chair of the firm’s Corporate & Business Department. “Her global experience paired with her strong M&A background will be a great asset to our team and clients.” Originally from India, Singh holds a B.A.LLB (Hons) from the National Law Institute University, India and an LLM from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. She is licensed to practice in India, Australia and New York. Prior to working as an attorney in the United States and Australia, Singh worked as an attorney in India, where she clerked at the Supreme Court of India and then represented clients in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound foreign investment laws and general corporate law advisory.
