Alteva Celebrates Grand Opening of First-Ever Innovation Center and New National Headquarters in Philadelphia

Nationally Recognized Cloud Communications Company Pioneers the Way Customers Experience Business Communications Before Buying

PHILADELPHIA, PA – September XX, 2012 – Alteva, a leading cloud-based Unified Communications (UC) solution provider and subsidiary of Warwick Valley Telephone Company (NASDAQ: WWVY) (referred to as WVT Communications Group), today announced the grand opening of its first Innovation Center, located in its new national headquarters, located on the first floor at 401 Market Street, in Philadelphia. The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of Alteva’s Innovation Center and headquarters will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012. The grand opening is expected to draw a multitude of visitors, including local politicians, business leaders, industry experts and media. The Company’s first-ever Innovation Center features several Experience Zones for customers to experience Alteva’s cloud Unified Communications solutions. Designed to help customers and partners understand the technology that is rapidly becoming the standard for business communications, the Innovation Center is a hands-on, interactive channel for the business community to see and touch the cloud and to learn how UC delivered from the cloud can enhance business productivity while driving down the cost of ownership. Alteva’s Innovation Center in Philadelphia is the prototype for other centers Alteva plans to open, expanding to different markets across the country. The opening of the new Innovation Center and new headquarters office coincides with a momentous year for Alteva, the ninth largest hosted IP telephony and UC provider, according to Frost and Sullivan. One year after the August 2011 acquisition by WVT Communications Group, Alteva is poised for continued growth, helping corporations run more efficiently every day with high quality business communications solutions. Alteva’s new national headquarters nearly triples the Company’s office space in Philadelphia. Alteva will maintain its office space in the historic Bourse Building, where it has been based for several years at 111 S. Independence Mall East in Philadelphia. "Philadelphia is increasingly becoming a hub for innovation, technology and entrepreneurship," said Mayor Michael A. Nutter.  "Alteva's new Innovation Center is further evidence that companies see this city as a smart choice for investment and expansion, and we could not be more excited about this announcement." “The grand opening of our Innovation Center and new national headquarters in Philadelphia signifies a pivotal moment in our company’s history as leading pioneers in cloud communications,” said David Cuthbert, President and Chief Operations Officer of WVT Communications Group. “We believe we provide the best user experience in a fast-growing market. At our Innovation Center, partners and potential clients can come in and experience hosted VoIP, instant messaging, presence, collaboration, call center, conferencing solutions and more.  We want to show them, not only tell them, how our communications solutions benefit them and their businesses.” “Philadelphia is a growing technology hub, and it’s where Alteva rose to its current success” added Cuthbert. “Although we have customers across the country and internationally, we are proud to open our flagship Innovation Center in Philadelphia.” More at www.altevatel.com
