Aire Networks reaches an agreement with Onivia to connect more than one million homes

February 2, 2021 - The wholesale telecommunications operator Aire Networks has reached an agreement with the company  Onivia to access its FTTH footprint and offer it to its operator clients . This collaboration will reach more than a million homes through the bitstream service. In this way, Aire Networks reinforces its bitstream service with which it plans to cover the entire national territory throughout 2021. The news has been well received by the media, who have already echoed it. The  Europa Press news agency ,  El Confidencial Digital ,  Eldiario.es ,  Bolsamanía ,  Alicante Plaza ,  Merca2 or  Conectronica are some of the digital publications that have published the announcement of the agreement. Thanks to this, operators, integrators and resellers have at their disposal a park of one million Onivia Real Estate Units (UIs) located in five metropolitan areas: Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Malaga and Seville . In total, they will have 3,000 kilometers of FTTH that they can commercialize, with coverage of up to 1Gbp of potential speed. In the words of Raúl Aledo, CEO of Aire Networks: “  Thanks to the agreement with Onivia, we add to our portfolio of services new possibilities for our clients, through the FTTH footprint that will give them access to almost a million homes to which they can offer their connectivity solutions ”. Onivia, for its part, has valued the specialization in the sector and the previous experience of Aire Networks in the market . In this agreement, Onivia not only offers the rental of the infrastructure and access to the FTTH footprint, but also actively participates in the commercialization of the network with a tailor-made value proposition. The CEO of Onivia, José Antonio Vázquez, explained that  “the arrival of Aire Networks to our network reinforces our unequivocal commitment to opening up broadband access to the market in a flexible way, also guaranteeing the best quality standards in our network fiber optic ”.
