Aire Networks buys the Portuguese operator AR Telecom and begins its internationalization

February 18, 2021 - Aire Networks has acquired the Portuguese telecommunications operator AR Telecom . With this acquisition, which is already in the last stage for its final approval by the Portuguese competition authority, the Alicante company enters the Portuguese market and begins its internationalization process. With this movement, Aire Networks seeks to improve its position as a leading global operator in the field of communications, technology and services for operators and companies and acquires a company of recognized prestige as a provider of business services, and a long-term
expertise in the provision of solutions data, connectivity, Cloud and data center infrastructure. The acquisition of AR Telecom is part of the strategy designed by Aire Networks to undertake its first steps in the internationalization of the company , reinforcing its business area in the corporate market by incorporating a channel into its distribution network that has a extensive experience in Portugal, which will allow Aire Networks to establish synergies to continue innovating in connectivity, cloud and data center solutions. The closing of this operation shows the firm intention of the group, backed by Magnum Capital, to continue with its inorganic growth, which already started in 2019 with the acquisition of Unelink and Prored, and continued in 2020 with the purchase of LCRcom, all They are operators and leading companies in their respective segments.
