Llutxent - January 15, 2021 - Adamo  continues with its own infrastructure deployment in the Valencian Community. Specifically, the operator now adds about 1,500 homes in Llutxent and Benicolet to its high-speed Internet network. Thus, the company makes available to the residents of both towns in the Vall 'de Albaida region the fastest fiber optic available on the market today (1,000 Mbps). More than 1,200 addresses in Llutxent, 250 in Benicolet In a disaggregated manner, the operator already provides high-speed Internet to more than 1,200 homes in the first municipality mentioned, while, in the second, there are 250. This means that more than half of the population of Llutxent is covered by the Adamo's fiber optic network, a percentage similar to that accumulated by Benicolet. Deployment of Adamo in the Valencian Community With this new step, the development of telecommunications equipment continues in Valencian lands. Thus, Llutxent and Benicolet become part of the list of more than 40 towns in which Adamo is present in the Valencian Community. This deployment includes cities and towns of l'Alt Palància, La Safor and Ribera Alta and Baixa; in addition to Torreblanca and San Antonio de Requena. Municipal support The operator has the collaboration of both the Llutxent and Benicolet consistories, which at all times facilitate the work of the Adamo technicians. In the first case, with Maria del Rosario Boscà, Luchentina mayor, at the head; on the Benicoletana side, with the regidor Mateo Prats. The coronavirus does not stop the expansion of Adamo It should be noted that the company's growth rate is hardly influenced by the outbreak of COVID-19: the telecommunications operator brings fiber optics to 25,000 new homes per month in Spain despite the coronavirus. Advantages of Adamo Fiber Optics In this sense, it should be noted that current times - marked by the pandemic - require telecommunications operators to be able to satisfy the enormous demand that exists for a quality Internet connection. For this, as already mentioned, Adamo offers the fastest optical fiber on the market (1,000 Mbps), which translates into being able to telecommute with a stable connection, maintain videoconferences without interruptions, and be closer to family and friends who live far away. , make medical appointments by video call, buy online, have the possibility to access education remotely or watch series or enjoy  online video games  , among other options. The same opportunities for rural areas The company continues its support for connectivity in rural areas. In this sense, Adamo's commitment is clear: to bring fiber optics to all corners of the region, also to historically forgotten environments. Hence, the company has become the benchmark operator in rural areas, offering service in towns and areas where others do not reach. An example of this philosophy are the cases of Llutxent -with a little more than 2,300 inhabitants- and, very especially, Benicolet, which remains in the environment of half a thousand. An expansion plan worth 250 million This is possible thanks to an ambitious expansion plan that reaches 250 million euros, the results of which are the already 10,000 kilometers of Adamo's own network and having the necessary technology to connect the rural world, thanks to which Adamo already offers service in 600 municipalities throughout the country. Adamo collaborates in establishing population in rural areas Thus, the operator collaborates with the development and stabilization of the rural population, thus promoting the competitiveness of those areas that have been losing inhabitants to make them an attractive option to live. At this juncture it is essential not to leave anyone behind. Both those who already reside in villages, towns and small cities and those who, due to circumstances, choose to move to a smaller municipality. Adamo Fiberhood With the precise objective of providing high-speed fiber optics to the most remote areas, the company has an innovative tool:  Adamo Fiberhood . It is a system by which, only with the joint request of 30 neighbors through a simple website, it is enough for the company to deploy fiber optics in their municipality. In this way, Fiberhood is positioned as one of the key instruments that allows Adamo to reach places that other operators cannot. ABOUT ADAMO: Adamo, based in Barcelona, is an operator with a national vocation, but with a regional and local business focus. Present in the Spanish market since 2007, the company gives priority to rural areas and new urban areas with a high population density, providing the fastest optical fiber on the market (1,000 Mbps). EQT Partners, Adamo's investment fund and majority shareholder, supports its current expansion plan, boosted in early 2020 with 250 million euros. Likewise, Adamo is the main awardee of the New Generation Broadband Program (PEBA-NGA 2020-2022), funded by the State and the EU, having received72 million in grants to bring high-speed Internet to 450,000 homes located in rural areas of 19 provinces. Thanks to having its own infrastructure, in addition to the Internet, Adamo provides fixed and mobile telephony customers, as well as services for the business and wholesale market.
