  • The inhabitants of both towns have access to the fastest fiber optics on the market (1,000 Mbps) and a special offer that includes the gift of a smartwatch.
  • The operator continues with its deployment in the Vall 'de Albaida region after adding Llutxent and Benicolet to its network to the more than 40 municipalities in the Valencian Community in which it already provides service.
  • The company will install high-speed Internet in another 30,000 homes in the region throughout 2021 and 2022.
  • Adamo, which already has 10,000 kilometers of its own infrastructure and offers service in 700 locations, connects 25,000 new homes in the country every month despite the coronavirus.
Salem - February 26, 2021 - Adamo  continues with its own infrastructure deployment in the Valencian Community. Specifically, the operator now adds more than 400 Salem and Terrateig homes to its high-speed Internet network. Thus, the company makes available to the residents of both towns in the Vall 'de Albaida region the fastest optical fiber that exists today in the market (1,000 Mbps). More than 250 addresses in Salem, almost 160 in Terrateig In a disaggregated manner, the company already provides high-speed Internet to 254 homes in the first mentioned municipality, while, in the second, there are 159. In total, 413 new homes that are added to the nearly 1,500 of Llutxent and Benicolet that Adamo added to its client base in late 2020. Municipal support in Salem and Terrateig The operator has the collaboration of the consistories of both Salem and Terrateig, which at all times facilitate the work of the Adamo technicians. In the first case, with Juli Fenollar, mayor of Salemero, at the head; on the terrateguina side, with the councilor Silvia Ferrer. Supply and gift smartwatch To correspond to this reception, Adamo offers a special price of 31 euros for 9 months for each installment with the aforementioned 1,000 Mbps, 9 GB for mobile phones and the gift of a smart watch. To that package is added  the raffle for a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 that will take place on March 15. All this was explained by company officials to the municipal authorities in presentations that included  promotional videos for both Salem and in  the case of Terrateig . Deployment of Adamo in the Valencian Community With this new step, the development of telecommunications equipment continues in Valencian lands. Thus, Salem and Terrateig join the list of more than 40 towns in which Adamo is present in the Valencian Community. This deployment includes cities and towns of l'Alt Palància, La Safor and Ribera Alta and Baixa; in addition to Torreblanca and San Antonio de Requena. Another 30,000 homes in Valencia Altogether, Adamo will install high-speed Internet in another 30,000 homes in the province throughout 2021 and 2022. Specifically, 29,775 homes will benefit from this new equipment. More than 7 million in PEBA aid for Valencia This growth is supported, on the one hand, by grants from  the New Generation Broadband Program (PEBA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, which is co-financed by the European Union (EU). Altogether, Adamo was awarded 72 million euros to deploy fiber optics in 19 provinces. Of this budget, more than 7 million will be allocated to the installation of this key infrastructure in Valencia to facilitate, thus, the communication of the aforementioned 30,000 homes. Total investment of 13 million in fiber optics for Valencians On the other hand, this expansion is also possible thanks to Adamo's investments, which will add another 6 to the aforementioned 7 million, which will complete an outlay of more than 13 million euros to bring high-speed Internet to cities and towns in Valencia. The coronavirus does not stop the expansion of Adamo It should be noted that the company's growth rate is hardly influenced by the emergence of COVID-19: the telecommunications operator brings fiber optics to 25,000 new homes per month in Spain despite the coronavirus. Adamo Fiber Optic Advantages In this sense, it should be noted that current times - marked by the pandemic - require telecommunications operators to be able to meet the enormous demand that exists for a quality Internet connection. For this, as already mentioned, Adamo offers the fastest fiber optic on the market (1,000 Mbps), which translates into being able to telecommute with a stable connection, maintain videoconferences without interruptions, and be closer to family and friends who live far away. , make medical appointments by video call, buy over the Internet, have the possibility of accessing education remotely or watch series or enjoy  online video games  , among other options. The same opportunities for rural areas The company continues to support connectivity in rural areas. In this sense, Adamo's commitment is clear: to bring fiber optics to all corners of the region, also to historically forgotten environments. Hence, the company has become the benchmark operator in rural areas, offering service in towns and areas where others do not reach. An example of this philosophy are the cases of Salem -with just over 400 inhabitants- and Terrateig, which barely exceeds 250. An expansion plan worth 250 million This is possible thanks to an ambitious expansion plan that reaches 250 million euros, the results of which are the already 10,000 kilometers of Adamo's own network and having the necessary technology to connect the rural world, thanks to which Adamo already offers service in 700 municipalities throughout the country. Adamo collaborates in establishing population in rural areas Thus, the operator collaborates with the development and stabilization of the rural population, thus favoring the competitiveness of those areas that have been losing inhabitants to make them an attractive option to live. At this juncture it is essential not to leave anyone behind. Both those who already reside in villages, towns and small cities and those who, due to circumstances, choose to move to a smaller municipality. ABOUT ADAMO: Adamo, based in Barcelona, is an operator with a national vocation, but with a regional and local business focus. Present in the Spanish market since 2007, the company gives priority to rural areas and new urban areas with a high population density, providing the fastest optical fiber on the market (1,000 Mbps). EQT Partners, Adamo's investment fund and majority shareholder, supports its current expansion plan, boosted at the beginning of 2020 with 250 million euros. Likewise, Adamo is the main awardee of the New Generation Broadband Program (PEBA-NGA 2020-2022), funded by the State and the EU, having received 72 million in grants to bring high-speed Internet to 470,000 homes located in areas rural areas of 19 provinces. Thanks to having its own infrastructure, in addition to the Internet, Adamo provides fixed and mobile telephony customers, as well as services for the business and wholesale market.
