  • The operator continues with its deployment in the province after adding Llutxent, Benicolet, Salem and Terrateig to its network.
  • The company will install high-speed Internet in another 30,000 homes in Valencia throughout 2021 and 2022.
  • Adamo, which already has 10,000 kilometers of its own infrastructure and offers service in 700 locations, connects 25,000 new homes in the country every month despite the coronavirus.
Valencia - March 25, 2021 - More than 2,500 homes in Real, Montitxelvo, Rafol de Salem, Beniatjar, Montroy and Rugat currently have  Adamo fiber optics .  Specifically, the operator provides service to 2,561 homes in these six towns in the province of Valencia. In addition, with the fastest Internet connection on the market today (1,000 Mbps). More than 1,300 addresses in Real In a broken down manner, the company already provides high-speed infrastructure to 1,321 properties in Real, 393 in Montitxelvo, 317 in Rafol de Salem, 207 in Beniatjar, 204 in Montroy and 119 in Rugat. Adamo deployment in the province With this new step, the development of telecommunications equipment continues in Valencia. Thus, the six listed towns are added to the recently added Salem, Terrateig, Benicolet and Llutxent. Another 30,000 homes in Valencia Altogether, Adamo will install high-speed Internet in another 30,000 homes in the region throughout 2021 and 2022. Specifically, 29,775 homes will benefit from this new equipment. More than 7 million in PEBA aid This growth is supported, on the one hand, by grants from  the New Generation Broadband Program (PEBA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, which is co-financed by the European Union (EU). Altogether, Adamo was awarded 80 million euros to deploy fiber optics in 500,000 homes in 20 provinces. Of that budget, more than 7 million will be allocated to the installation of this infrastructure in Valencia. Total investment of 13 million in fiber optics for Valencians On the other hand, this expansion is also possible thanks to Adamo's own investments, which will add another 6 to the 7 million mentioned, which will complete an outlay of more than 13 million euros to bring high-speed Internet to cities and towns in Valencia. The coronavirus does not stop the expansion of Adamo It should be noted that the company's growth rate is hardly influenced by the emergence of COVID-19: the telecommunications operator brings fiber optics to 25,000 new homes per month in Spain despite the pandemic. In this sense, it should be noted that current times - marked by the coronavirus - require telecommunications operators to be able to meet the enormous demand that exists for a quality Internet connection. For this, as already mentioned, Adamo offers the fastest fiber optic on the market (1,000 Mbps), which translates into being able to telecommute with a stable connection, maintain videoconferences without interruptions, and be closer to family and friends who live far away. , make medical appointments by video call, buy online, have the possibility of accessing education remotely or watching series or enjoying  online video games  , among other options. The same opportunities for rural areas The company continues to support connectivity outside of large cities as well. In this sense, Adamo's commitment is clear: to bring fiber optics to all corners of Valencia, also to historically forgotten areas of the province. An expansion plan worth 250 million This is possible thanks to an ambitious expansion plan that reaches 250 million euros, the results of which are its own network of 10,000 kilometers and the technology necessary to connect the rural world, thanks to which Adamo already offers service in 700 municipalities throughout the country.
