Mosaic NetworX Deploys Shango® for Provisioning Management
Austin, TX (April 2, 2012) - Shango®, an industry leading Integration-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider, today announced that Mosaic NetworX, a Communications Service Provider (CSP) and authorized Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) in 16 states, has selected and successfully implemented Shango's cloud-based provisioning and management solution for its growing customer base.
As service providers continually seek more efficient ways to manage their infrastructure and processes to remain competitive and profitable in today's technology-driven world, they must balance front-end simplicity for sales and customer support with complex back-end fulfillment processes. Mosaic NetworX understands these necessities but like many other service providers, their first generation in-house provision management system did not meet their growing needs. Upon learning about Shango's cloud-based service platform, the company replaced its legacy system with Shango's end to end solution to drive operational efficiently and enable new service offerings.
"Following a comprehensive evaluation process, we selected the Shango platform based on its instantaneous order fulfillment of telephone numbers, as well as online access to provisioning workflows and inventory management," said Matt Hiles, Chief Operating Officer at Mosaic NetworX. "More importantly, Shango enabled us to grow the business without growing headcount."
"Deploying a cloud-based OSS requires all parties to execute with precision. To that end, the Shango development and implementation teams have been responsive and superbly accommodating, while thinking out-of-the-box to deliver creative solutions," said Joe Buck, Director of Service Delivery & NOC Operations at Mosaic NetworX.
"Mosaic NetworX selection of the platform is a testament to Shango's ability to allow carriers to scale dynamic business processes across disparate networks, back-office systems and trading partners while delivering an ever evolving mix of services," said David Walsh, CEO and founder of Shango."We are thrilled to have a successful carrier such as Mosaic using the Shango platform, which enables them to grow through back-end efficiencies. We developed the Shango Platform as a service provider ourselves, to address many of the same issues today's CSPs are challenged with regardless of whether they are cable MSOs, VoIP and mobile carriers, hosted unified communications providers, CLECs, or application service providers."
