COREDIAL ENHANCES ITS CLOUD COMMUNICATIONS PLATFORM WITH SWITCHCONNEX 5.0 UPGRADE

The Platform Upgrade Delivers New User Experience and Many New Features Designed to Help Channel Partners Capture Recurring Revenues While Delivering More Value to Their End User Customers
Philadelphia, PA, Oct. 8, 2014 – Today, CoreDial, LLC, a leading cloud communications software and services company, announced SwitchConnex 5.0, a significant software upgrade for its cloud communications platform. The company’s SwitchConnex 5.0 provides Interconnects, Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Carriers with new features and functionalities that make its platform more flexible, accessible and easy to use.
The SwitchConnex 5.0 release includes the following new and updated features:

  • User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX): The new UI and UX improve the overall experience for our Partners and your end-customers.
  • Theme Builder: The updated Theme Builder makes it easier for partners to customize their sites for channel and customers. Pre-bundled themes are available.
  • User Rights framework: The new framework includes users, roles, groups, and profiles. It also included is a new Assume Identity feature with improved support and testing capabilities.
  • Level 3 (Sub-Service Provider) view: The new view is geared toward sales agents.
  • User Dashboard: The new Dashboard improves upon the Operator Console, which is retired with this update. It is easy to configure and makes the Dashboard useful for all users.
  • Chat system: The new chat system is linked to the Dashboard and pre-configured to enable employees to easily communicate across the enterprise.

With this 5.0 release, CoreDial significantly improved the user interface and user experience, both for partners and their customers. A revamped user rights system makes it easier to support partners’ end customers, and makes it significantly easier to brand the platform. A new level of login is designed to enable our channel partners to better engage 3rd party sales agents.
The Dashboard and Chat, two of the most notable new features, are designed to improve the usability of the SwitchConnex platform for every single user on the network.
SwitchConnex 5.0 will also include a new and improved, fully tested infrastructure which will provide increased redundancy, scalability, and security. The rollout of the new infrastructure is underway, and CoreDial partners have already begun experiencing improved web application performance.
SwitchConnex 5.0 is available to CoreDial partners beginning October 8th.
